Welcome to Page 33, where Manek basically draws the Batman logo 200 times. :-\

I think for me number of lines in a page is directly proportional to how scary the mood is. Scarier scenes like this one take far more pen strokes, while pages that are funny or light-hearted actually seem to work better with less detail. I guess it’s similar to a long slow pan in a horror movie, where you’re waiting and watching and taking in all the details as the tension builds.

And the tension builds alright!
