Well, that escalated quickly! Miro disappears into the same very mysterious glowy thingy that he was warned about in the previous page. Honestly, if this is their level of self-preservation in the beginning of the book, they aren’t going to last very long in the 1000 pages of endless horrors that lie ahead. :-\
