This is where I draw the line. Miro measures up a distance, and Vick contemplates becoming a veterinarian (not really). I had a lot of fun drawing those detailed frames of Miro looking intense, that would look just as good in a fight sequence, as this ailing-deer-stride-measuring sequence.

But I had even more fun sitting down last night and updating the all the pages before this. One of the reasons I wanted to start a webcomic for Bonabyl, instead of publishing straight into a physical book form, is that the process of creation is more organic this way, I get the opportunity to lay out my final draft page by page before printing. I get to go back and make edits; tweak dialogue to be smoother or funnier, brighten colours to be more consistent with the other pages, and probably best of all, I get to show it to YOU and hear what you think. If you have a few minutes to spare, go back to the first page and read up to page 15 in one flow, as the start of a book, and tell me if the text is feeling compelling, if you’re getting hints of how the characters behave, or even if some typos or unusual sentences have slipped by me. It’ll help me keep a check on the quality of the chapter as a whole rather than page to page. Thank you!
