My anime influences have started to really show, eh? One of the things I think Japanese anime and manga do far better than western cartoons is seamlessly switching between intense drawing styles for drama, and stupidly cute styles for humour. It’s a juxtaposition I’ve come to adore over the years, and it stumbles into my work without invitation.

And that brings us to an interesting question. I bet you can recognise Japanese and American style comics pretty easily right, there’s also a bunch of European styles, middle eastern styles, and plenty more. So which part of the world do you feel like this comic series fits into stylistically? Does it feel ‘Indian-made’ in any way, or does it remind you of some other combination of countries? As the creator it’s tough for me to judge, but it would be interesting to hear what you have to say!
