Have you ever opened a door and had someone else open it from the other side at EXACTLY the same time? Such a cute moment. Well maybe not in this case cuz one of the people involved is a blood-thirsty vampire. And what a terrifying coincidence that this door opening should occour JUST before we reach page 40. Probably means something’s terrible is going to happen.

Would it be too early to kill a main character? I will say though, the next page has blood.
